While the Internet may seem like a free place and without controls, it is not so: all activities and transactions are monitored and recorded by various entities, including the Web sites you visit, the company that will provide connectivity to the Internet (Internet Service Provider) marketing company, hackers, criminals, and many others. This is because every computer connected to the Internet is assigned a unique IP address that allows you to identify yourself: is a bit like a telephone number associated with a phone line. Anonymous Browsing means to hide their identity and prevent anyone from being aware of our activities on the Internet.

All activities are tracked on the Internet. From your Internet habits you can learn different information about you, some of which are reserved: the sites you visit regularly to determine your political opinions, your religion, your health, your sexual orientation, and more again.
